Danielle​ McLain​, RN, BSN, OCN, BMTCN

Danielle McLain, is currently a clinical nurse at the University of California, San Francisco Medical Center. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Austin and is currently enrolled in a Master of Science in Nursing program for her Family Nurse Practitioner at the University of Cincinnati. Danielle has worked within the hematology, oncology, and bone marrow transplant field for the last 7 years. She has had the opportunity to work at various high-acuity academic medical centers including MD Anderson Cancer Center (Houston, TX), Presbyterian St. Luke’s (Denver, CO), Stanford Health Care (Stanford, CA), and UCSF Heath (San Francisco, CA). Over the last several years, Danielle has had a growing passion for nursing wellness, the incidence of compassion fatigue within the nursing field, and how to combat its affects.
